Question Charge bat light now no start

Hey everyone,

I am in need of some help... alot of it I fear. So today I went to drive my FD and shortly after starting off the charge battery light came on, I thought it was weird maybe just a fluke so I turned the car off and sat for a sec then turned the car back on. The car started with no issues. About 1-2 min later charge light came back on so I said screw it I have somewhere to be I will just take my truck, go to park the fd and the radio starts turning on and off think nothing of it park the fd and run my errand. I get back home and go to start the car the charge light is on, radio stays on but the car no longer starts turns over perfectly but does not start.
I say well maybe it is flooded do a whole deflood nothing. Go under the hood look for anything out of place nothing. I had a new main fuse block the one that has the egi fuse so i put it mine was looking rough still nothing. I have been dailiy driving this car for the past month with no issues or concerns. one thing i did notice is it looks like my ecu may not be getting power or maybe the light on the adaptronic ecu went out.

Anyone have any idea thoughts or rabbit holes i can jump in to maybe get this fixed and running again?

don't want to point out the bleeding obvious diagnosis here but................. check to see if your alternator is charging

I will do that. Im so deep into this that i bypassed the obvious. My question to you is that this could all be from a bad alternator?

...... not trying to be rude but, just going to assume you don't do any of your maintenance or are VERY young

please do some reading on general automotive electronics. you will have a much better answer to your question from that. chirs fix, eric the car guy and scotty kilmer are good youtube channels for general information on basic troubleshooting and basic "how cars work" information

Nothing wrong with that. but no I have built this car from the ground up and owned it for 7 years on top of that, do all maintenance on all my cars including classics. However, I have never had an issue like this before in my 27 years. however, electronics are my absolute weakest point which causes me issues in areas like this. Anytime I ever had alternator issues it was accompanied by your typical issues like flickering lights, dim lights, warning lights, or even bad sounds.

understood.... well, you learn something new everyday then.

your initial post could be a test question on a mechanic test. its a textbook description of a low voltage/failed or failing alternator situation. the 2 biggest giveaways are things turning on and off randomly and the charge light on the dash. all the things you stated are big giveaways honestly lol but those 2 are the biggest.

also meant to say ".....any of your OWN maintenance". didn't mean to imply you don't do any maintenance at all.
