Car wont get into boost

So i got my car back from the shop and i was driving and i noticed that my car wont get into boost unless i gun it. I have stock twins, apexi blow off, PFC, and auto trans.

If i gun it, the car will hit 0 boost all the way up to redline, shift and do the same thing until final gear where the boost goes up to 5psi.

It use to be 4psi, 5psi, 9 psi. What the stock twin settings are close to.

What can cause this problem?

any help will be great.

Start with searching for a boost leak. Only way you'll get boost THAT low is a significant boost leak.

TX Theres a leak somewhere

I would start with the obvious. As stated above there must be a pretty substantial leak. Let me ask you this, when you give it full throttle do you hear a whooooooosh under the hood? If so check the turbo outlet to y-pipe on the primary turbo. Make sure the bolts are tightened down TIGHT. Just remove the secondary turbo intake pipe to veiw the primary/y-pipe connection. If thats not the problem remove each rubber pipe leading into and exiting the intercooler to check for splits. I bet you the mechanics forgot to tighten something.

Here is a picture of the primary turbo outlet to y-pipe connection

First area to check is whatever the shop was working on.

You probably have a coupler off. The primary turbo is very basic as far as controls. If it were any of the small things that could be wrong with the control system you would still see some boost.

The shop only installed power steering. I did a boost leak check. I couldn't find the leak but can hear it. Took a video of this, will post it later. It's really noticeable so I belive it's my wastegate stuck open. Also my vaccum is a little diffrent instead of the usual 20 vaccum it's about 15 to 10. If that helps diagnose my problem. Thanks

Ok i figured it out. My blow off valve broke. The seal snapped in half. so basically there was a big hole. Also a arm thing below the turbos came off. Fixed that. Cars running all better now. Thanks for the help.
