Car runs hot
Even with my fluidyne my car still runs hot when sitting in traffic or on the road course. I had to slow down for a cooling lap this week to bring my temps down under 230+ after only about 10 laps at the road course this week. Sitting in traffic it will pretty much stay at 220 or so.
Need a vented hood? The stocker gets to hot from the air the fans blow up i burnt my hand on the damn hood propping it to let everything cool down(not from racing, just driving in traffic )
Fans do keep temps in control, but man it scares me how hot it still runs? Better fans maybe?
The heat off the rad also is just torching my SMIC, i cant even touch the greddy even when i dont boost, just stop/go city crap.

*How much water to coolant are you running? The more distilled water, the better the cooling. If you're tracking it, I'd run about 80% water with some water-wetter.
*Get some upholstery foam and plug up any gaps around your radiator and IC duct.
*Consider a simple/inexpensive boost-activated auxillary injection system. Mine really helped with the temp spiking I used to see after periods of hard boost. There are also other benefits.
*A vented hood would reduce high-pressure behind the radiator and help with flow. Would also vent off the radiant heat. You'll need pins and there may be fitment issues.
*Mostly help around town, but consider a S5 Thermoswtich if you don't already have one. Lowers the threshold temp for the fans from 108 C. to 95 C.
I'll mention it only because some have neglected to mention they didn't have one. But you DO still have a belly-pan in place, right?

Im running 50/50 right now. Probably have to stay about there to keep the boiling point high enough. S5 twich is tempting and may be needed. Might get a cheap PFC so i can just change it there along with getting a real tune.
Running 10psi currently.
yes, under tray is in place and water injection is on my very short list of things to do asap since im always gonna be running that fairly small greddy smic.
