Bridge or street porting?

Well it looks like I may have to do an engine rebuild so I want to port my engine. My car is daily driven to and from work every day but that is only about 5km. On the weekends I do like to go and have fun with the car and some times take it to the track. As far as mods go I have a three inch downpipe and will probably throw a new muffler on the car but nothing crazy. Would I be better to go with a streetport or a mild half-bridgeport? Has anyone done this keeping the twin turbo set up? And any tech info would be fantastic. Thanks

mild street porting would be fine...bridgeport can produce huge hp..built that are for high rpm race purposes and generally dont last long

It's really not pratical..especially since you want to keep the car streetable..
..go ahead and do it...but dont say I didn't tell you.

even a big street port will suck big time...only power increase will be at the top end..at cost of low end...

They call a street port a street port for a reason. Do the right thing...

well streetport it is then I was just wondering what a twin turbo with a port that big woould be like. I understand that it is not a good idea for the street.

yeah you probably won't see the gains of a bridge port with the stock turbos because I don't think they flow enough air....

Undriveable, with an idle around 1,300-1,500 rpm, and no low end power.

just get a street port, you will immediately notice the power gains with stock turbos. only race cars need bridge ports

To be honest the main reason I even thought of doing a bridgeport was because I saw a video with speedracers Turbo II with a bridgeport and it sounds so cool. I will be going with the street port. Thanks guys.
