HELP!!!

I've decided to change my actuator pills (wastegate

controller) and actuator (turbo precontrol) plus the

actuator (charge control) to high silicon hoses and

notice a pattern of 6-5-6lbs. Now I'm loss. I've checked

the connection over and everything looked fine. Was I

not suppose to change the pills to silicon hoses or what?

 

did you put the plastic pills in the new lines? if not, it will cause a drop in the signal to the actuators, meaning less boost

they should be metal pills and yeah what he said

replace the hoses but feel the lines there are 2 that have pills wastegate and precontrol...put those back in

 

what do you mean plastic pills.?

sorry but all I did was change them stock hoses to silicon hoses. I do notice some little oil on the stock hoses before I change it to the silicon hoses.

 

This happened to me once right before a dyno pull. I had changed one of the hoses that contained the pill and I had only pulled 7psi max. Scared the hell outta me, went back home and good thing I save everything that I change and the pill was still in the old hose. Changed it and it pulled like a dream after that.

I FOUND THE PILLS IN THE HOSES!

Whew I was scare like hell, but the problem is do I just cut these open and put it in the silicon hoses and replace it.?

The other thing is how do I know which pill goes to which now?

so if I am loosing a pill for the actuator (turbo precontrol)
will that result in a pattern like this 13-10-7

 

last I remember, pill with the larger hole goes in the shorter hose.

 

the pill with the larger hole controls wastegate small1 prespool secondary I think. I relpaced them with home depot valves this weekend.

 

does it matters what sides you put it into?

and does it matters from the length of the pills to the actuator?

im having boost 7-7-7 after i change my vac.hoses!!

I still have all the old vac.hoses but its in a box mixed with other junks... so i dont know which was the old wastegate/precontrol hoses...

 

There should only be two vac hoses.
The waste gate controller and the turbo precontrol actuators vac hoses.

You will have to look for those hoses because those gaddamn pills does make that of a difference.!

Look inside every of your vac hoses and see if you can

see a small metal pill in it. The pill have to be in one of

those hoses.!

The bigger pill goes to the waste gate controller, and

the smaller pill goes to the precontrol hose.

I just finished mine and I think I have awaken the long

sleeping beast.



When I get a picture I will post it for you guys.

For some reason I can't get the picture to be posted but anyways, yeah you should find those two hoses that contain the two small metal pills inside them.

it is soooo bloody tempting that i had to find the two hoses... after burning and cutting some of the hard vac.hoses i finally found them... I FEEL SOOOO GOOD!!! hehehe
