Age? Occupation?...
22, Lieutenant in the army (yay!), bought the car 4 years ago from an F-16 pilot (incidently) for 17,500 w/some light mods. Now knowing much more than I did (and being several thousand dollars poorer), I have finished undoing his damage and adding some of mine. '93 R1.
Say, GoodFellas, wanna open a Hawaii branch of Gotham Racing? And all you engineers, I got a minor in mech, if anyone wants to throw out a job offer. j/k

1/4 century old.
Chalk me up as an electrical engineer, I guess.
That's what my degree's in, and that's what I'm continuing in grad school now. I was a full time IT support-er, until a month ago. Now I'm "on call" IT support, which means I barely make ends meet now. Thanks for the budget cuts, Arnie!
Oh well, it's just the kick in the *** I need to finally put my EE degree to work. I hope I make as much $$$ as I did
.
I bought my '95 R2 a year ago w/40kMi. It "costed" ~21k, not including registration, insurance, etc., of course.

Lead IT guy at a fiberoptics company. I also do welding/fabrication on the side.
Bought my FD 2 months ago for 14k. It's a red 93 R1 w/95k miles. I've wanted this car since I was in high school, but I always assumed that getting a used one would cost me at least 22k.

It's a bit scary to see how many people are on their second FD after a wreck. I know these cars are continuing to get rarer and rarer, but no one seems to have an accurate count of how many are left in the US.
27, Mechanical Engineer working in a rotation program for an automotive supplier, thinking about picking up a 93 touring blk/red with 32k for $17900... Don't know for sure yet
20, currently doing temp clerical work while I try to break into IT (working on certifications and degree). I'm looking at buying an FD in about a year or so, depending on how the job thing goes, and using it as a project car while I keep my '97 Eagle Talon as my daily.
