21, full time business student. i purchased my Brilliant Black 93 FD Touring in May of 2003 for $20,100 after taxes and registration and what not from a shady dealership in New Jersey (Car-Nu). It had a brand new motor and rebuilt turbos and low miles, so i didnt mind paying that much for it. the shady part is the turbo only spooled 3psi. it turned out to be a cracked solonoid (sp.)

58. Retired Electrical Engineer, now doing some VERY limited special project development and some teaching of Electrical stuff.
First FD new in 1993, raced it, crashed it, fixet it, sold it with less than 10 K miles.
Second FD in 2005, 45K miles. Mods in progress. About to get a brand new set of BNRs from Bryan, any day now to replace my working twins.
Have raced NASA and SCCA for many seasons with lots of success, all in various rotary engine configurations, from Pro7, GT-2, GT-3 and Formula Mazda. Owned many REALLY FAST cars, including two Lamborghinis. All time favorite is the FD for its unparalleled handling, light weight, timeless styling and mod-ability.
When I quit racing 3 years ago I thought that I had the need for speed and fast cars out of my blood. No chance. Just had to get an other one. I still hit 140 MPH jusf about every single time that I take it out (limited by the longest straight road section in my hilly neighborhood).
Intend to hold on to this car for a very long time.
