That's as bad as the kid who lived around here who got a supra for his first car. Thankfully his dad came to his senses and sold it in favor of buying him a prelude before the kid actually had his license. Then he had the nerve to bitch about it. The only car my parents ever bought me was my 79 chevy malibu for $1500.

18, if everything works out I am buying a 94 Silver R2 with 54k miles, with all my own money thankyou =). If I do get it, it will be like stealing it from the guy, I will get it for between $8k-$8.5k. Only thing wrong is some minor body damage my cousin can fix cheap. Oh, I am going to be a freshman at Rochester Institute of Technology studying Micro-electronic Engineering on an Army ROTC scholarship. I've been lurkin this board on and off for about 4 years now.

Not all people who get stupid cars for their first vehicle mess up. I had a 68 Firebird for my first car. I was 16 and had gotten my license at 15. That's not exactly what most people think of as reasonable car for my age. I also paid for it myself.

Nothing like a fast car with lots of torque that has four wheel non-power drum brakes. In all the time that I drove it though, I never got a ticket or in so much as a fender bender.

Anyway, just trying to stick up for the teenagers that posted since I was one not too long ago. Hopefully, they won't screw up.

Ahh...I said company, not firm.

I'm just going to say there's a difference between the two.

Here's your answer.
