Bought my 93 base for 18k with a brand new streetported engine almost a year ago.

 

21, network engineer & programmer (BS comp eng in a few months - can't wait)

got a 91 NA FC a few years ago, sold it, got a 93 FD auto for $1250 with a blown motor, sold it for $7k - financed a serious Honda turbo buildup (sorry), sold the Honda, bought a Porsche (92 968 - loved this car, but it was auto), sold the Porsche, bought an Audi, I drive the Audi.

Bought my current 93 base with 64k for $9500 with known trans problems and a few other bugs a few months ago - currently in 2M parts in my garage.

And yes, I am 21, and yes, it's all my own money... mom and dad got me a 73 beetle for $800 at 16 and that's all the help I ever got. Nothing pisses me off more than the local crew of 17 yr old kids with new STi's, 350Z's, and Evo's (not kidding).

I got married 3 weeks ago so that's going to seriously dampen my tuning budget... In fact I'm looking around for some additional work - anyone need perl or C programming or mysql training?

Just turned 23. I'm a Fire Controlman (Weapon Technician) on the USS Ross DDG-71 currently deployed to the Gulf of Oman. Shooting for 375RWHP by this time next year.
