AFR readings at idle?

What should the AFR readings be at idle? I have my car tuned at 11.7 right now at idle. I just want your guy's input.

most people run a lean idle, to help prevent fouling plugs.

13.5 or area gives a nice smooth idle. The car tends to run rougher when you go leaner than this.
Anything lower than 13 and you're just wasting fuel and building carbon.

Autometer a/f gauge running off the stock o2 sensor? Nothing wrong with it, just widely inaccurate.

11.7 is a little rich, I had to lean mine out to prevent plug fouling and smoother run.

I got to 13.6 by dong an ALL DATA INIT on the commander. Make sure that you back-up your map before resttig the PFC. Basically restting the PFC to the base map. and then I let the PFC "learn" by letting the car idle for 45 minutes(15 mins w/ no elec load, 15 mins w/ the rear defog on, 15 mins w/ rear defog & parking lights on). DOing this lets emsures a smooth idle w/o "surging/hunting". Reload pevious map excluding the values in the idle cells.

You can pay an experienced tuner $400+ to tune your car to your mods on dyno using their equipment. Or you can buy a wideband$400 and the datalogit $300 and tune your own car on the street. Remember, everytime you add a new mod to your car, you should make sure that your fuel maps are safe for that configuration. Here are the links to buy those products:

http://www.fc-datalogit.co.nz/model-status.html
http://www.techedge.com.au/vehicle/wbo2/default.htm
and a laptop computer. A cheaper 1G P3 should work fine you don't need a supoer fast PC to tune.
