wondering if anybody knew anything about any 6 speed fd setups like where to get it, specs, reliablity, etc.
thanks

^Rotary Extreme offers Greddy @ $6900.

Depending on what your after, maybe a more cost-effective way would be to get a different gear set for you differential. I know Tri-point offers them, not sure about others. Just a thought.

I believe the Greddy unit is not only 6 speed but is a dogmission.

how about the RX8 6 speed. Would it bolt up? it might take a weird flywheel/counterweight setup but you might be able to make it work. I have heard it isnt that strong though. The T-56 in mustangs, camaros, and vipers would be a STRONG option. People use them in V8 conversions so it will fit in the tunnel. You would just have to have a custom adapter plate made up and maybe a custom clutch for the input shaft. No doubt it will be expensive (unless someone can ghetto up an RX8 trans with mostly stock parts) and wont be really worth the money... But me being me I would do it if I had the money.

anyone know if the supra getrag 6 speed will fit in the tranny tunnel? that would be really nice. . .those damn things are bulletproof

wonder if anyone could put those gears in the fd tranny case and maintain the strength the getrag has?
