1) If it was feasible to do that with the wastegate, lots of people would have done it by now. Why do you want to do this?
2) Did it really "snap" loose, or did one of the mounting bolts just fall out/break. Please be more descriptive. The front mounts bend easily under track type loads with grippy tires but I've never heard of anybody having a problem with the rear mounts.....

i miust be a retard but i dont understand
that didnt help
you could just remove the actuiator to the old wastegate weld on a new wastegate to the old manifold by fabing a tube of the proper size with proper flanges place the actuiator line on that and go
it seems to me like it would work
imho correct me if im wrong thx again

Yeah, but I can't remember hearing anyone ever having the stock wastegate fail. It seems like a whole lot of trouble for no gain.
You have to consider that people have been modding these cars for years now and, for the most part, if something is not regularly done, there's probably a good reason not to do it.
As far as expensive goes, have you looked at the price of good quality aftermarket wastegates?

true i was referring to the modification to the manifold a lone
its not the failure that worries me its the down right obselecence when you add a midpipe
i see people on here saying that even porting doesnt work and im sure that porting isnt inexpensive either
i think ill buy a used manifolt and give it a shot
ill be back with results as soon as i have them

I know a lot of DSMers and Honda/Acura guys who weld their internal WG shut on their mitsu or Greddy turbo and weld on an external WG.
BUT:
#1 they have enough space in the engine bay to have the external WG
#2 the turbo they are using wont choke up at the higher boost that they will be running. The Honda/Acura guys are going with an external WG, and boosting in excess of 14 PSI on their TD06-18Gs which can still work pretty efficiently at high PSI. Same thing for the DSMers boosting 18-20+ PSI on their 20G turbos.
For those guys it is pretty much necessary to go with an external WG. For you, if you plan on staying with the stock twins, then IMO it would be pointless to get an external WG welded on.
