Street port idleing?

Quicky.

Would a streetported motor idle higher than normal? or can you get it to idle at 800rpm? or should you just leave it at 1000?

This isn't idle troubleshooting, just a quick question.

thanks.

Even a decently sized streetport can hold a 750rpm idle.

I can't get mine to idle below 800 RPM I have a Very large Street port (both intake and exhaust)... as soon as I get to 750.. it sputters and bucks. but as soon as I get it to 800 is purs (purs roughly) but purs.

I have a medium sized street port and it will idle just fine at 750, but I find that off-the-line response is smoother when I set the idle at 1000.
