weird rear fitment poke on my new rear wheels?

Just picked up a set of new wheels, the left side is perfect. however on the right side its sticking out 5-10mm?? will have pull my fenders for sure on that side. can't explain its same offset, wheel width, and tire size. alignment was just done and is the same on both.

Any ideas why? first time I actually fitted max offset wheels so i never noticed before on the other ones... is this normal?

Thanks in Advance!

Did you do your own measurements on the wheels? Could they have sent you one in the wrong size/off-set?

Is there a previous spacer still on there ? Can measure the back spacing to the other one to see if a possible manufacturer's defect

I'm confused...

You say one side is sticking out but then later say alignment was done at it is the same on both...

Are you meaning your alignment specs are the same for each side or that you now have this "poke" on both sides after the alignment?

This is weird but given that these are new wheels, do not assume anything. So swap your wheels from the left side to the right. If the problem also changes sides then you know with 100% certainty it is the wheels. Obviously if the problem persists on the right side like you originally said, then you know something is wonky with your car and need to address that issue.

My suspicion is that you ended up with two distinct separate offsets on the wheels (5-10mm offset would be very hard to spot by merely looking at the wheels since the width remains the same).
