Nice RZ example. Similar to one here. Is it a 1996, 1997 or 1998? How much of the original RZ specific equipment have you retained?

This is a 1998. Its stock exterior, stock interior (except wheel) had issues (and then some) and have modified almost everything under bonnet. vmount, gtx35, haltech, etc. all very nicely done.

The same, but different!

JDM FD have been import eligible to Canada since 2007 (1992+15). This plus a long history of Japanese car culture dating back to the 1960's with the Fraser Ports being one of the largest car import facilities in North America, has lead to a eclectic mix of FD in our community.

Caught my neighbor leaving in his 67 Chevelle this weekend headed to a Cars and Coffee that was right around the corner from me that I had not heard of before. Nice little turn out and not super early in the morning like most C&C so I took a drive down there with him. Only one other RHD with this Silvia Q but overall a nice mixture of vehicles and it was close to home.

Here is a youtube clip from our Sevens' Day. Rolling shots on the sea-to- Sky highway start half way through.

These are a little aged now as I've been pre occupied with Car show and Hurricane stuff this past month. My friend and fellow enthusiast owns this Chillin' Shave Ice shop. The wife saw the perfect opportunity to take a "Red White and Blue" photo with our cars.

My Wife and I work with Subiefest Florida every year so we were busy with that show last week. Didn't get too many pictures because I'm usually running around like crazy handling things for the event and venue. I did snag a couple RHD pictures. There were plenty more but I didn't even make it over to the car show part of it unfortunately. This little Subaru Sambar is our even workhorse. comes in very handy for event setup and teardown. We had a good turnout even considering we had not yet recovered from the first Hurricane that affected the west coast of Florida.

Great you are braving through the hurricanes.

Hope no one you know was adversely affected.

Unfortunately there are plenty of people I know that were. We lucked out with damage here but the whole area is devastated. I didn't have power for 4 days, Cell towers were down so we had no communications either unless you are on radio. We are just getting fuel to gas stations as of yesterday. If a tanker showed up over the weekend it was a 4+ hour wait for fuel if you could get it before the tank ran out. Cellular signal is starting to come back today but I have lots of friends with major damage. I spent the weekend cutting trees and sandbagging because the rivers start flooding up to a week later as the rest of the water in the state runs off to the oceans. My inlaws are currently staying with us because they live in St. Pete and still without power, much of that area flooded with Helene and was hit again with Milton.

Thanks for sharing that.

Poignant to see the kids playing in the driveway toward the end of the clip.

A friend of mine hosts great BBQ's and had a Halloween themed one this weekend which was a great time to just hang out with some long time car friends. He usually has a much larger turnout but we are still dealing with the Hurricane aftermath so many people were able to come. I didn't take that many pictures so I had to steal some of the photographer's pictures (Phillip.) I was enjoying just hanging out and didn't take the pictures I would have liked. I didn't take the FD this time because we had to do some running around and I was tuning the wife's S14 while she was driving after some changes I've made recently.

Pretty cool car. We always plan to have a meet with the Seattle guys.

Or you could come up to Vancouver. (Mind the speed bumps on the Canadian side of customs.)

If you scroll way up, you will see that there have been RX7 meets in the UK. Whether they were around July 7 or not, I am not sure.

The very big meet is "Sevenstock" in L.A., which typically occurs around the beginning of November.

And, of course, the equivalent meet in Japan.

You might look for a more generalized JDM meet in the UK and encourage you contacts to show up to it (as a start).

Latching onto any of the Miata clubs activities, is another idea.
