WA New Engine, New Harness, No Crank

I'll be the first to admit, I haven't dug thru the FSM, or done much poking around on this quite yet. 94 Touring with a brand new engine, new emission harness, charging harness and coil harness. After buttoning everything up I go in and hit the key and...nothing. Well, almost nothing. The interior lights and dash work and the parking lights work. Headlights, blower motor, and generally anything engine related don't seem to come on. I could jumper the fuel pump and could hear it kick on (I needed to check for leaks anyway).

Looks like I have a couple of places to start looking. #1 battery (threw it back on the charger tonight), #2 clutch switch, #3 12V at starter when cranking, #4 bypass the security interlock. I'll try those things tomorrow evening and see what I comes of it. Maybe I'll give the starter a whack as well.

When I hit the key there is no click or anything. The only thing that occurs is the radio lights dim.

Any other thoughts out there I should look into? I don't see any blown fuses or smoked wires (I had better not find any, I spent way too much on new wiring!)

So the motor isn't cranking over, just turn the key to Start and nothing, no clicking?

The good thing is that's just the starting circuit, the ECU and everything that runs the engine isn't involved at this point. Make sure the main power wire to the starter is connected and getting 12v, the small wire to the starter is connected, and check out the clutch switch and security system relay. You can bypass the clutch switch and security relay for troubleshooting. The "click-click-start" thread has this all documented to death.

Fortunately I didn't go down too many rabbit holes with this one. I did all the checks I listed, then ran out of patience. I was pulling the battery out to throw it back on the charger and noticed two plugs sitting with no home. Yep, I hadn't plugged in the two connectors to the positive terminal fuse box.

Whoops! I figured it was something simple...
