Swaped engine w/ harness and engine doesnt start hear relays clicking
I just swapped the engine with engine harness to a 88 gxl. S4 engine to a s4 chassis. Turn the key and i hear relays. The dash lights on the dash doesnt light up but the shift light lights.

check the Starter area..the Harness..First of all Make sure that the Harness it attached to the Ground BOLT(the big Bolt that runs through the Engine and Bellhousing, and is used as the Top starter Bolt)..the harness is Grounded to that Bolt.(under the Oil filter,in that area),,another thing is To Check the Solenoid Wire..there should be a Wire going to that..QUESTION: when you Turn the Key Does Everything go "blank"?..like it is Feeding power OUT but the Starter doesn't Engage?.Check the Starter Connections, and Have a Full charge on the battery..That is all I can think of right now..Good luck.,STYX.

So far I got it to crank. But no fuel or spark.
Also, I took the entire dash out, will that hinder anything?
Actually..now that I think about it, when ever I put on the battery, I hear relays click on with the key out of the ignition

so today I installed my dash back in after I got out of work and turn the key on, and nothing lights up.
The idiot lights are not lighting, the gauges doesnt work (the volt gauge and gas gasuge doesnt work).

thats the wierd thing. The main fuse is good, I even tried 2 other ones. Same thing to all the other fuses in the eng bay.
the only thing that lights up anywhere on the dash is the shift up light, when you turn the key to ON.

wow...I am really getting stupider with each passing day.
I forgot to ground the body.....
I noticed it when I was looking at the wiring for the ignition.
Now that I grounded the chassis, and gauges and indicators works. I am not getting no spark!!!!
Back to the wiring schematic again...Ill check and test the ignition system tomorrow but a little help can speed up my recovery of depression from this dibacle

Well, there is 12v at the blk-wht at main coil.
Went tn the main relay and found 12 v at the blk-grn and whitd blu.
Went to test the two pin on the main relay and the blk-wht has no voltage during cranking and the is no continuity grnd on the blk wire
edit
nevermind, i got continuity but the ohms was 1.5 ohms grounded the ecu and now the ohms is 0.1
