Best of luck with the prep and show.

The sideskirts are actually OEM mazda. They are my favorite skirts by far. OEM ones (non-replica) are polyurethane which is good cause they can flex and take abuse. Mine are oem but when I had them painted, the shop foolishly used bondo to fill imperfections which later started to crack up after installation.

TUNED had paused production for almost a year while the DRIVE network was making changes.
With that being said, tuned is back now and they will begin filming my car Feb 28th.
Ive managed, (just barely) to finish installing Turblowns 8376 ewg kit and tune the car up to 16psi. I still need to add a resonator to the 3.5in mp but the car is ready otherwise. Should be a nice setup for Matt to experience. He told me that he "hates rotaries but wants to see what a turbo one is all about." Im hoping to change his mind

But I digress..... congrats! Certainly well deserved. I hope that things go well and that Matt has positive things to say about your ride!

I had recently been watching some of The Smoking Tire's YouTube channel and loved all the one takes. It's disappointing hearing him say this about the rotary. Makes me wonder which rotary's he was referring too? That channel gets a **** load of views so hopefully your car represents the rotary well. Good luck!

He seems to have had some sort of "bad" experience with an N/A rotary which tainted his view on all rotaries in general. Like most people, even car enthusiasts, he probably doesnt have a clue about rotaries. Im sure the mid/low range torque and response is going to catch him by surprise. He does seems like a cool guy though and genuinely interested in learning more about these cars.
To be honest, I have yet to drive the car with the tuned EFR setup. A month ago when I was home for winter break, I was only able to slap on the EFR kit in a couple days but wasnt able to tune due to an over-boost issue. Turned out Turbosmart sent wastegates with 21psi springs vs 14psi. I already had to fly back to DC at that point so I left the car in Abel Ibarra's hands to tune and sort out the wastegates.
