It's high for Japan, but FD prices very WILDLY.
I've heard of people buying them for as much as 10,000,000 yen.
Typically the prices for clean ones are around 4,000,000, give or take a million or or two....

I paid 250,000 yen for mine...

Just a few of the aftermarket pieces can sell for the current price of the shell.

(I mean when the price was $500.)

Recovering $5000 would take a lot more work.

ended up going for 1,200,000 yen

the last one you post is highly, highly modified, but I sort of doubt it will get any bids at that price.

That valuation is a surprise considering the condition. I would not imagine a 1995 Type Bathurst as a big deal (v.s. Typr RII Bathurst or Type R Bathurst X. at least).
