Carbonfiber bonnet insulation
My carbon fiber bonnet / hood was looking a bit crap when i glued in the alloy mesh in the vents.
so i rang up NASA and got them to send me the really good ****, some heat and fire proof insulation.
I got 2 meters of alloy fiberglass insulation with sticky backing from ebay.
so i sanded down the alloy mesh and glue and gave it 2 coats of under coat.
I then went about laying the insulation to make it look a bit better and this is how it went.

Thanks ^
I super glued the edges of the insulation to stop it from fraying and sanded it down so its closer to vents, no little bits over hanging the vents and brushed on some silver paint on the edges to clean it up.
Then i made a cold air ram tube that connects to the bonnets front vent out of fiberglass that lines up with a big tube that go's to the front of the air filter.
