Thanks! The Apexi kit is basically stock, I did however shorten the intake piping a few inches for a better (IMO cleaner) fit and removed and plugged the fitting for the airpump.

It's a Greddy front mount with a Koyo radiator,it has custom made ducting and larger out let hole and pipes!

 

that's a badass twins setup. what kind/size are the turbos? some infoz plzz... looks great

Got engine out



Took everything out (because it was melted and useless) prepped and painted in my backyard



Where it sits today...getting closer to running... not bolted up but just mocked up

 

Good to know more and more people are ressurecting FD's

 

Am I the only one having a hell of a time trying to get my 2.5 inch intercooling to work with my koyo radiator. Since I cant weld aluminum I cant get the proper bend to get the radiator far enough forward to even put a filter on the turbo. Any hints.

 

The reason why you are having trouble is because the intercooler piping kit you bought is not custom made for the FD, so you have to find away.

Other people are using up to a 3in but they are custom bent for the Rad and FD frame.

 

honestly, it prob cancels out. especially with all the recent fd accidents due to weather
