well you could search the forums and find an answer or you could just pull the injector fuse and crank the motor over to it spits out all the fuel... then change your oil if its really bad...

Yes, you can use motor oil if hesistant using ATF, defined: >http://roglv.org/FAQ/faq2.html#0 The small amount of ATF used during unflooding is really too small for worry, and doubtful it causes any harm...

If you've got lots of time you could just pull the plugs, clean em, crank the engine over with them out to get all the excess fuel out. Put them back in and your done. Takes 5 minutes.

importedrx7, I believe that's the concensus for 'soaking' in ATF, i.e. stuck seals, etc.

but if the car is really flooded what i would do is what Curtass said

But instead of putting them right back in make sure they got spark and they anit all nasty looking. I would just replace them and new wires to. But let the engine sit about 24hours before putting the plugs back in then try it that way.

But dont use ATF unless your enigne is about gone anyways

the atf is usually for unsticking a stuck motor, as its got a lot of detergents in it.

for unflooding any oil should work fine, you basically need to restore the oil film that the gasoline washed away

when mine was flooded, i tried everything. taking out the fuse and cranking...nothing. taking out the plugs, cleaning them, cranking, putting them back in...nothing. I did this about 3-4 times each...nothing. I even tried push starting it with my friends's jeep...nothing. Then i put a teaspoon of motor oil in each rotor spark plug hole...and it started right up. It just needed a little extra compression from the oil that the gas had washed away.
