Why 720cc injectors?

I was just wondering why everyone with TIIs seem to go with 720cc injectors for the secondaries. Couldn't you go with larger, like say 850 or 1000cc even and just tune them down? Is it bad to be running too low of a duty on injectors?

Oh and if I got 720s for the secondaries right now could they be put in the primaries later if needed? Thanks alot.

The 720's are drop in.&nbsp ND (Nippondenso) doesn't make anything larger capacity that I know if in top-feed configuration...

I am yet to see ND Fuel injectors on the parts sites I have been searching. Should I seek out ND FI's? or can I get away with drop in's from other brands. (not sure what brands I was looking at off hand)

800cc/min injectors from the 12A Turbo drop in, but good luck getting them in the US!

the GReddy injectors are the ND (nippon denso), or i guess re-badged as GReddy you could say. they drop in, no mods required...they are also low independence.

If you go with anything higher, you would have to do some serious custom manufacturing of a fuel rail of some sort. The 720's are the largest drop in for the 2nd gen
