when you do a compression test and are unhappy with the results.......or if you just got some money to spend.

A few indicators:

Hard to start
Floods easily
Excess smoke
Excess oil consumption
Coolant loss

These may all be symptoms of other things wrong, but are also indicators of a weak engine. Easy one is compression test, below 80 psi it the engine is hard to start and floods easy.

When you have coolant or apex seals coming out of your exhaust... Its time for a rebuild.

When you car smokes soo bad your neigbors call the Fire Dept... Its time for a rebuild.

When you have to pull the egi fuse to deflood and it still doesn't start.... Its time for a rebuild.

When you have to push start your car because the egi fuse trick didn't work... Its time for a rebuild.

When you rx sounds like a tractor cause its running on one rotor... Its time for a rebuild.

When your car eats as much coolant as gas... its time for a rebuild.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

so funny yet so true. happened to me 3 times 2 n/a's and the O.G. t2 motor i had before the landers build. it sounds so mean but goes absoloutly no where.

funniest thing ever though was after i popped the t2 motor i actually got it to boost like 6 psi and it pulled like a stock n/a motor.....

Any time you ask a question on this forum about compression or coolant seals or overheating, you will get a chorus of *Jr. Apprentice Rotary Rocket Engineers* pop up to tell you 'It's time for a rebuild!"

If I had a buck for every time the chorus sings, I would have enough $ to have a Landers rebuild-but of course, I don't need one...do I?

I can second the 6psi on one rotor. But i had a bad injector plug. Not a popped rotor.
