For anything over 220hp, you're going to have to pull apart the motor and have it ported, get forced induction, or N20.

With every bolt-on in the book and a somewhat streetable exhaust, you can get 200hp. With a 100+db exhaust and every bolt-on you can get close to 220hp.

Well start stripping the car down, get a header(true-dual or go single muffler to save weight) straight pipes back to muffler(s). Intake, cold-air box. Take some more **** off the car. You can try pulleys, elec fan, new radiator. To make some real power your going to need to take the motor apart and port it but you can start out with porting the throttle body. Do a search in the upper right hand corner for TB mod..

Weight reduction. Intake, exhaust. Port job or N2O. TII drivetrain. And about $5k to get the 220 hp. Be warned:A 200+ hp n/a will have to have a illegal exhaust, and it will be very loud, and not very streetable. Traffic will be a flaming bitch to drive in! Have fun, and don't kill yourself!

in your dreams on a NA?

Actually a bridgeport and an aftermarket fuel computer can do 220rwhp. Bruce Allen did that

I believe they are speaking of flywheel horsepower.

Well someone told me he dynoed his streetported NA at 212rwhp so 220 to the flywheel can be done without a bridgeport.

Heres where they said about the 212rwhp:

You all act like 220 is a hard number to reach! I've seen all motor 300HP 1st gen 12As running around at the track...I know a 13B can do it too...personally, if I was building an all motor application....I'd swap over to the carb setup...full straight exhaust, Jbridge, underdrive pulleys, t2 drivetrain, and get the fuel to go w/ all that..you'll be set...

I'd like to see Joe Schmoe off the street pull off 200hp to the wheels...

RotaryMan, actually no. My friend could barely get over 170rwhp with a carb. Now he is doing 185 with an aftermarket fuel and stock internals
