Whats better 4port or 6port for this next proj

Ok im about to build another motor myself. Im going to use it for the street races specifically and an emergency car for work if I need to.

Im going to do a partial bridge port/ streetport with a carburator and thats pretty much it haha. I dont want a full bridge so I can get longetivity. My question is should I use the 6port N/A S5 housings or should I opt for the 4port Turbo housings? The 6ports seem to have more timing than the 4port pluss I think I can figure out a porting method that retains some low end on the 6port housings wile making more top end than the 4port since the volume of air is smaller in the 4port...What size carb should I use for something slightly larger than a bridge 600 or 650 carb?

4 port. Much more porting potential then the 6 port, especially with the bridge. Problem with 6 port is that there's not much room between the ports and the water jacket...

4 port.. specially with the carb setup.. you can not go wrong.. find some good turbo II side housings..Half Bridge sounds good. but if u wanna really pull on an NA go full. a 600 or 650 jetted either one works good.. just remember to get the different fuel pump and regulator... and dont go over 6 pounds or else it will go pig rich.. and that 1st gen distrubutor... when it comes to making power in an Bridge Na its all about the setup... ive had a few believe me.. its how u u have the carb adjusted .. and it can be tricky..

Hey 13b2

13b2 well cant I just put it on a dyno and tune it till I get around a 13.5 A/F ratio ? or is it harder than that?

Also I heard of poeple just using the stock ECU to control the stock ignition while using the carb setup wich is alot better than the 1st gen ignition. Should I do this?

hey

dam sig...also I would like to know how long its suppose to last. Im looking torwards 30k miles. I hear the bridge actually will crack and thats why they go out otherwise it should be the same as a stock port if driven like a daily driver.

25K-40K or so.

I'm building an N/A 13B-T w/ the 9.7 rotors & a large 4Port streetport. I'm after quick... and bulletproof.

I didnt think a large streetport turbo was reliable. They are quick thou. Im after quick and crazy rpm's with the satisfaction that I beat somone using a non turbo rotory that I built myself. Infact I look forward to blowing engines within 25k miles or less so I can rebuild with another semi custom port of my own design.
