What would you folks like to see fabricated for the FC??? (seriously)
I would rather not even speculate about the roll cage yet... It's not even confirmed that we'll do one at this stage, and when we do, it'll most likely duplicate the one that we do for my car... So I dunno...
I forgot about it earlier, but there's also the Corksport intake pipe. I also agree that the AWR piece seems overpriced.
For the brake master cylinder brace, it's basically just something secured to the strut tower that has an extension that buts up against the end of the master cylinder to help prevent the firewall from flexing as much when you press the brake pedalm. That gives better pedal feel and a harder pedal.
I'd be very wary of a rear strut bar that doubles as a harness bar. You'd want to be VERY sure that it'll be strong enough to take the force of 2 fully grown men in an impact. One problem I'd have with it is the mounting, as the shock tops are held on with only 2 bolts on either side, which doesn't seem like enough to me, and the base plates that I've seen all raise the bar up above that a few inches, which would be another weak point. Another issue is that a rear strut bar is fairly far away from the driver, leading to the situation shere the harness lenght is fairly long, causing a potential stretching problem upon impact.
While I'd like to see a harness bar made for the FC I just want to make sure that it's designed properly so that it's safe to use. Also, when it's properly designed and safe that helps protect you from legal action and helps win the case in court if someone ever decides to sue (afterall, it is the US, capital of suing over anything). No I'm not trying to scare you off or anything, I'm just trying to look out for the best interests of everyone here.

You make good points... FWIW we weren't intending to double the bar as a harness bar... We were going to (attempt) to integrate a harness bar into it that spans the B pillars... Maybe make them available as a package... Chances are, it'll end up being 2 seperate pieces, but it was just a thought...

Wanted to make a point on the strut/harness bar contraption. It would be great if you could make one designed around not killing us in a crash. But; harnesses are not legal for use on public roads in the first place
It's illegal to remove or alter any factory crash tested safety device. Also, trying to prove to the law that a harness is mounted in the correct/specified dimensions goes over like a fart in church...(been there)

Other than the aformentioned strutbars and chassis stiffening parts I would like to get a solid front differential mount like the one that used to be available from scalliwag. I've ripped 2 of the factory ones now and I really don't feel like dishing out $100+ for the MazdaSpeed one.
about the cup holder...good ******* call...i just spilled a large light and sweet coffee coolatta under my passanger seat...good thing i had that 14mm socket handy. and that nice shop vac...still sticky and still smells like *** though :-/ more cleanup!

Ok guys here's the scoop... I'm checking out the guidelines for SCCA regarding harness bars, so we can get the appropriate diameter and thickness for the materials... We figure there's no point in making something that would prevent you from qualifying for a motorsports event... We're shopping for materials starting tomorrow...

this part is $650 for a fiberglass version and that doesnt include probably $300+ in shipping from Japan.
a metal piece could be painte black and an aluminum piece could be left with a brushed look.
I love the looks of this piece and would be happy to shell out $400 shipped for a quality piece that is made in the US and wont take 3 months to get thru customs.
you can also sell solid diff mounts and maybe a brace or pinion snubber of some sort to keep the diff from lifting up at the front mount points.
