I know this isnt exactly an FC item but how about a subframe for 13B swap into a miata.

Can't... We don't have a Miata, or the time to try and fit a 13B in one...

this sounds great, I like the ideas about
3" TID
front and rear strut bars
Vert roll bar (any vert ideas would be great!)
aluminum under tray
how about a front mount pipe kit for the npr small intercooler that runs under the car like this:

on jm85rx7's car

I'm hoping you're spending every waking moment working on these things cause I'm definitly down for the CAI and strut bar! I was just wanting a front one but that rear one you're talking about has potential!

i was looking at this set-up and seems that it could be made fairly easily with one of the those universal inetrcooler pipe kits from ebay for $100 with couplers and clamps.

Ok guys... Got an update for you...

Just off the phone with my pops... He's got a list of materials together, and we've already worked something out with the local metal yard... Just gathering the money to purchase all the materials now...

He wanted me to let everyone know that we'll have all the materials for the first batch of strut bars by Monday at the very latest... We'll have a few of them made by sometime next week, so be patient! These things take time!

So do we pay in advance for the strut bars? Can we set up some kind of multiple purchase discount? front or rear strut bars?

Nope...

I'm not gonna accept any money until the stuff is ready to ship... And yes we can work something out for multiple purchases...

Once again lol... We are fabricating chassis braces, radiator relocation kits, etc... No composites... Cupholders are appearing to be a must have item though! lol

Did you get a price for the strut bars that i missed, or are you waiting on material costs? One of those would be great powdercoated black or white. I'll buy one if i like what i see when you get pics up.

Ooh i just got an idea- howabout a heat shield for the tailpipe, thats shaped to the rear bumper profile, maybe out of stainless steel with a directional brushed finish... Its probably not in huge demand but i think theyre cool. (protection from those flames we're all shooting)

How about the front metal brackets that attach to the rubber aero kit pieces.

As seen from the black piece under the front left turn signal. The bracket that attaches those thingies to the car...

Dam near everything that i have seen i have thought great idea on. well except for the altezza tail lights (sorry man, lol) . I think your biggest prob will be making the stuff fast enough. Im on board. Cant wait. Rock on.

Wow more replies...

The bumper heatshields do sound like a pretty good idea actually... I've wanted one for a long time, but couldn't get one fast enough to save me from cooking my old bumper...

As far as the brackets for the Sport/GTU areo kit... Hmm... It's pretty rare to even see one fully intact... Anyone care to donate their brackets for "xerox" purposes?

If we make a cupholder, it will be designed to straddle the hump between the seats... That's about the best place I can think to mount one...

That would be the best position in my opinion. It doesn't get in the way of driving at all, but is easily accessable.

Currently, I do one of two things: wedge my drink behind the passengers seat, or make whoever's with me my cupholder bitch. So the hump mounted cupholder would be about the same reach as behind the passenger seat, but alot more secure.

It'd also be able to hold non-closable drinks compared to my wedge method. Not that I'd ever allow one of those in my car... but that's me.
