PS. the design of the 2nd Gen is way ahead of its time and invites more "modern" looking upgrades. They already look like they belong in "this day and age", just not the lights.

im not sure if someone mentioned this before...im too lazy to read the whole thread right now, i just skimmed
it would be nice if you could make a front air diverter panel(from the inside edge of the front bumper up to the radiator. just something clean looking, maybe with some brackets to lower the radiator overflow bottle, or a hole for the overflow bottle top...somethign that fits around the stock hood latch mechanism...something functional first, and clean looking second.

No we really don't need that, and even if it were within my abilities, I would never make something like that...

I am pretty sure those would sell like crazy!
When we make a cold air intake, it will eliminate the need for something like that...

Ok so that's why! Thanks for the info!

Claire that just so happens to be one of our priorities (because my car needs one)...

Probably something we'll offer regardless what the polls say...

sweet...its something ive been meaning to do myself, but with trying to get the car prepped for NASA, its kind of fallen to the bottom of the list...at least for the moment...saftey equipment and passing tech has to come first. a peice like that would be legal, btw(and no points for PT!)

in their eyes "stock" is what came on the base model... but thats racing for you...doesnt always go your way. hmm...also, some kind of aluminium ducting to direct more airflow to the oil cooler would be GREAT...my oil was getting pretty toasty last time i was on track, and the weather is only going to get warmer...

We're going to try and design the undertray where it feeds air to the oil cooler as well as the radiator...

Every bit of help works, Im an engineer too, knowing how much of a clusterf**k of airflow it is down there makes me realize how much cooling im missing.

Well... The thing is, so many people already make those, so I don't see where we would have any advantage in that market... Really trying to stick with things that aren't currently being made, or are simply too expensive to afford... Those adapters can be found cheap...

I was just speaking with my dad on the phone, and he threw an idea on the table... This would be mainly for high HP track applications (namely drag)... He said he could design an intake system with a box to hold dry ice, and a collector to draw from the cold air produced by the dry ice... Just an idea... What do you guys think?

How about taking universal Griffen Radiators and making mounts so that we can mount them vertically like in the FB's and FD's. It'd make for easier burping and flushing of the coolant system.

How about TII throttle body adapters??

For custom FMIC applications, so it points toward the lower front of the car instead of at the firewall. 3" inlet, tapped for the air temp sensor too. The cheapest ive seen are $100, it would be a hit if any cheaper

We'll see what we can do... We may just make a shortened oil filler neck (with core) and have hIGGI make the elbow, or modify the stock TII elbows...

No thanks... We don't wanna deal with turbos... If you get it setup, and need a piping kit for your car, let us know!

well, how about the full setup (piping, manifold, etc) and we find our own turbos?
