I saw a 300Z (mike's) with a cup holder in the ash tray then I looked in the 7, and the center console would fit perfectly for one (have a base of the shape so it fits snug but you can still pull it out) and the top for cups.

I always stick my cups in between the seatbelt buckle and the seat... Well... Until we make a cupholder... You guys are really turning me on to this idea...

not trying to jack your thread or anything but for the cheapo fc drivers you can use the cupholders out of a 1995-1997 VW passat. it mounts to the passenger side of the exhaust tunnel and folds out of the way when you're not using it.

If you would have at least read the first post, you would realize we are WELDING things here... I've already mentioned at least 5 times in this thread that we ARE NOT doing composites! lol

intercooler piping to fit this IC:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Unive...0460QQtcZphoto

I heard from a couple other guys on the forum, that they purchased one of these from this seller and that they were great looking IC's with good welds and what not.

Anyway, one of these is on the way to me right now. I'd rather buy premade piping to match my application than to buy a "universal" piping kit on ebay and have to cut/fit all that crap.

i would love to see a full length cold air intake that would mount into the front opening of the bumper and look better than what i have even if some cutting was required i spent $80 on everything from homedepot and autozone and it was a pain

Hey guys
Patience brings better parts dont make my man here rush or he will end up like me working him self into the ground. good prts take prototyping and then research to make sure what he is putting his name on it the best and he is happy with it.
Bro make sure you take your time and get things right its easyer to sell a good product people have waited for then it is to fix your name when your trying to fire things out to fast
lol take my word for it.
and people will wait for good products just do what your doing keep everyone informed.
Later Mael

Thanks for the support man... We're trying to gather all the materials right now, and as soon as we do, it'll be no time at all before we're cranking stuff out...

Update!!! Please Read!!!

Alright guys... We've made a step in the right direction...

We took a trip to the metal place, and ordered enough materials to make approximately 20 front strut bars... They said they're pretty backed up right now, so it MAY be a week before we have the stuff in our hand, but the order has been placed and it's a done deal... We have templates made for the end plates, and we've decided not to base our design around the CP bar, because after thoroughly checking it out, we've deemed it quite inefficient... This is a little closer to what we're doing...

In the meantime, while we're waiting on our metal, we'll be in the process of designing some other parts that seem to be in demand... The V-mount intercooler setup doesn't seem that far fetched at this point...

Also... If ANYONE in the North Carolina area has an old subframe laying around not being used, we need it to start work on the tubular subframe we're designing... Let us know if you are willing to donate it for the cause!

I'll keep everyone posted!

I'll take one too, how much are you gonna be asking? or ballpark, and is there going to be an interest list/deposit made for these?

They are going to be $100 + actual shipping. They should still fall well below the $150 mark that the "other guys" are charging for crap quality parts that you'll probably never recieve. We're also setting up a business account for shipping, so we can have a rate calculator available, and cut down on shipping times (and costs) as much as possible...

There will be no deposit required. I'll contact Ryan and set up a group buy for the first batch of bars once they're ready. There will be plenty of photos available, and the bars will be painted with a high temp enamel. We'll probably have a few colors to choose from, black included of course...

We're not going to make an interest list, because the interest that's already been shown, surpasses our productivity level. When the first batch is done, I'll post a group buy thread and link it from this one. Keep tabs on this thread, because I'll let everyone know when it's ready to roll...

Thanks guys!

It should fit fine with the standard TMIC... Tomorrow we'll be taking some measurements from a stock TII just to be sure...

BTW

The jig for the front bar is complete, and we should have the one for the rear bar finished up by this weekend... Expect to see a front bar completed within the next few days, along with some pics for everyone to check out... Once we make sure the bar will fit perfect, they will be ready to sell... As most of you probably know, the first piece always takes the longest... After that it's all downhill! Stay updated!

hey, I know somthing simple, and i think others will buy... well, two things...
1. Proped Hood Hinges to prop the rear of the hood for venting (saw it in Superstreet awhile back on an FC)
2. Stuff to make the FC hoods open like a 1st Gen...
just poped into my head, and if you makem, ill be the first inline!!!

Should be easy to make and would look/do good for the cars...

also, when you start making your Strut Braces, ill sell my CP and buy yours

If the quality is good (sounds like it will be) and the welds look clean, I'll be interested in both the strut brace and the tubular subframe (eventually). good luck with the products!

I know you don't do casting or machining but I plan to put a t56 trans behind my s5 tII and I need to find a bellhousing to mate the 13b to the t56. the t56 has a removable bell housing. Maybe you could make a bolt on bellhousing from old junk mazda trannys? just a thought. everything your planning sounds great!

the things that make the back of the hood pop up are not only GAY but quite dangerous in the event of an accident. Can you say decapitation. Just look on ebay, the **** is universal. As for opening the hood like an FB, just go to the autoloc website. I think 13b4me is looking for more serious performance/reliability related suggestions. Im not trying to be offensinve BTW.
