Exclamation What would you folks like to see fabricated for the FC??? (seriously)

Ok before I begin, I would like to inform everyone that I'm 100% serious about this...

My father is a master welder, as well as an engineer... He's tired of the work he's doing right now, and would prefer to work from his home doing what he does best... I told him we should go into the business of making some hard to find/make FC parts, such as made to order custom FMIC kits that are designed around your particular engine configuration, tubular rear subframes (no more broken subframes), true cold air intake kits (once again, designed around your individual setup), etc...

EVERYTHING WILL BE PRICED VERY COMPETITIVELY!

We just want to know what the level of interest would be for these things, before we start shelling out production costs on something that nobody wants... ALSO if you guys have any ideas or designs you would like to see put into production, feel free to let me know and if we decide to go with your design, you'll get a nice discount on one for yourself...

Let's get the ideas rolling here, and if there's enough interest for a certain item, we'll get one made, tested, and contact Ryan about running a group buy for it... Also anything that's designed to improve engine performance (ie; cold air intake, intercooler kit, etc) will be DYNO TESTED on both a stock vehicle (with FCD and ported wastegate if applicable) as well as my streetported and modified TII... Ready, set, GO!

Yea that's how the idea manifested itself... And yes we realize FC owners are cheap bastards... We're also not trying to gouge people either, because the cost of living is pretty cheap here...

here's a hint...fc owners are the cheapest of all. I mean, just look at me. Just off the top of my head, prices I'd be willing to pay for things that I want.

Cold air box for $20.
TID for $20.
FMIC & piping for $500.
front strut bar for $30.

a three piece CAI setup that has piping all the way to the TB with appropriate bungs for the two hoses that plug in at the top and one for the air pump at the bottom and then hides away in the fenderwell so all we have to do is take the old **** out and cut a hole underneith where the stock air box is, 3 inch piping with as little bends as possable, that would be freaking cool

i would probably pay 40-60$ for just straight piping depending on the work and cost of shipping and whatnot

i guess without a filter it would just be two pieces

Typically we're more focused on TII stuff because honestly, you won't see as much gain from a tru CAI on the N/A model as you would a TII that's producing more heat... But it's always an option...

What do you guys think of some aluminum brake ducts to replace the crappy stock ones?

Throttle bodies are out of the question... We're welders, not machinists...

Again, very possible as long as it doesn't have to be cast...
If you have any particular ideas on the subject send me a PM, and we can discuss a design...

hmm a nice frount mount flange would be nice. Something like the N/A elbow, but metal and somehow avoid the oil fill.

How about a NHRA aprroved rollcage. Maybe like a small 4 point, then another larger 8 point.

EDIT: I mean, I could get my own made, but its so much easier for someone else to make it., and pay them a fair price.

That can happen but we're gonna try to establish something smaller first to get it rolling...

Maybe a set of an aluminum undertray and radiator panel to replace the stock plastic pieces?

I actually thought of that... I was just waiting for someone to say the magic words...

Keep the ideas rolling, but please be somewhat patient with us... Whatever gets the most interest is what we'll likely start with... I threw my dad the idea of a triangulated strut bar as well, and he said no problem... We'd also like to keep the price below $100 on them...
