Looks like a stock S5 j-spec that has been ground and filled to eliminate the ACV, split air and water

iv seen a LIM just like that in Vancouver BC. Fit the S4TII and had absolutely nothing on it as far as emissions.

Hey Ted is that the same guy that was selling that spacer a while back that goes in between the LIM and UIM that holds 8 injectors, looks like his work.

I don't see any semi peripheral ports....

Looks like a TII manifold that has been shaved.

no...

Ted

hahaha just joking. Definately a stock manifold shaved down and filled. I am basing this off the brakebooster hoses hole.

are those 4 things on top of the UIM fuel injectors?

If so isn't that kind of a shitty place to have them.

You would want them in the place of highest air velocity ideally.

Also you wouldn't want them to be perpendicular like that either.

That's a great spot for secondary injectors. The A/F mixture will mix in the runners. For primary injectors, it's a terrible spot.

I guess as secondary injectors, the air velocity at that higher rpm would be great enough that it does not need to be perfect as results would be negligible if done differently?

It's ideal to place them higher in the rails because as you mention, air velocity will mix the fuel better then if they were closer to the ports. However for primary injectors you need to keep them at the ports to avoid fuel coming out of suspension and puddling in the runners. Also helps a lot with throttle response.
