[QUOTE=AGreen;11110607]Neat, but nobody makes a hardtop for the Rx7. If you're going to replace those windows with lexan and rivet or glue in NACA ducts, I'd assume there would have to be a good reason to do so, vs. just putting the top down. And don't even say that it's good for when it's raining, because those NACA ducts will channel every bit of rain sliding off the windshield right into your face. So unless you can get a hardtop and track your car regularly, I would definitely not do that to a street-driven vehicle.

The nacaducts use a tennis ball to plug it up during rain. Since nobody makes a hard top for the fc, I would try to see about the g string top.

Or a fastback top.

Well, that wasn't really what I meant. I know it'd be easy to find a suitable plug for the NACA duct, but the point I was making was that it'd be useless for an FC convertible. I can't imagine a time when I would be driving the car and think to myself that I'd want NACA ducts there permanently. And my point was that people would probably argue they're good for when it's raining, which that'd be the exact opposite.

I ordered a cool breeze scoop after seeing the one my Dad bought for his '97 Miata. One day we decided to see if it fit the FC and it does.

The best thing about it is that I can take it down whenever I want, and I don't have to look like a fool with a NACA duct sticking inside my car

Old thread but worth repeating: 86-88 or whatever it was sport or aero parts like the ones in front of the rear wheels and the rare rear engine cover underneath that we all have the mounting holes for.

not sure how serious you are but I would like the adapter to mount your transmission when converting your FC from an automatic to a manual. Not much but that's what I need or if you knew where I can get that then please let me know. That would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Carbon fiber cheaper than aluminum and "metal"?... I guess this is a sort of "What if" situation anyway. Heh'

I would like a reproduction of the sport aero stuff, and seeing how almost every vert top is ripped now having a hard top option even at 2,500.00 it would be a good investment, a good quality replacement is 1,500 or more. Mostly I think directional vane brake rotors or more brake upgrade options would be nice
