I'm not concerned with the wiring, I could do that myself. Even a mount for a free air sub in the rear Tire area would be awesome. Shipping would be simple since it would have to be pretty flat.

I've done the car audio thing, and fiberglass is not my idea of "fun". Too much nasty fumes, and mass production is not really possible. We have a lot of talented members who can do fiberglass much easier, and having them located on the continuous 48 states makes shipping a LOT cheaper!

1) replacement steering column cover that doesn’t crack
2) custom stereo head unit install bracket – all the ones out there never fit right.
3) reproduction stock “aero-kit” found on the 88 GTU

Since I have the resources available to produce certain products, I'd figure I'd offer them to use unfortunate FC owners. Aftermarket stuff has been dwindling for ours car for the past few years, ever since the FD has been released so manufacturers have shifted their focus to the "new" RX-7. Luckily, the FC has been making a come-back in Japan due to the whole drift phenomena, so parts have been slowly coming back. But the more the merrier, right?
This thread is not only for me, but anyone who has resources to produce these products is welcome to do so. I wish I can tell everyone that it's not a problem to make all of these wishes, but I just can't do that.

I wouldn't say a 3-gauge cluster for the idiot light area, what I'd rather see is something much more snazzy... follow me here..
Instead of having the big ol' idiot lights, have one of two things:
- a Single gauge cluster with a dozen labeled LED warning lights in place of the idiot lights
or
- a dual gauge cluster with a digital text layout LCD to replace the idiot warning panel with buzzer for critical failures.
Oh yeah price, for the LED one, probably a hundred bucks, maybe a little more.
For the LCD one, probably $200 - $250

+1 for double din three gauge holder with DIN opening for stereo. I would buy it in a heartbeat. I'd pay around $40-50.
I would also like to see a good FMIC kit that I don't have to remove things and cut holes to make it fit. I would pay up to $1000 depending on quality of the kit.

along with that, a nice turbo plentum to go over it for us turbo cars. (currently the only people I know making these products are in australia and they want alot of cash for the entire setup)
Fiberglass doors (yet fully functional doors) , fiberglass and lexan rear hatch, s5 stock front lip (no one sells these anywhere!!)

Yo,
I would like a "sneaky" hoodlatch relocation kit. Where you would disconnect your stock hoodlatch pull handle so when the nice Police officer tells you to pop your hood, you tell him you can't.
It's busted, see? *yank yank*
No can do. It's an '89, what do you expect?
*grin*
Seriously, the cops out in CA make me not want to drive my car on the street anymore.
Make it with a frayed cable that you can dangle down near the stock location. Heh.
Then have a sneaky pull latch located somewhere...well...sneaky.

How about some CF panel or cover so i can get rid of everything cept the stereo and fill it back up with my gauges and switches for the nitrous and etc. Also, another cf panel that goes where the mirror adjust and alarm light are. Solid panels that fit are fine, i can cut out what i need, no need to be precut.

I've thought of another one. I think I saw pedals mentioned, but I'll be even more specific.
These pedals were made by Sled Driver, but he had to stop production, as work wouldn't let him continue using their machine. See if it's possible to get the exact specs from him and duplicate them. I'd pay what he was asking.

I think they look more like these;
http://www.sparcousa.com/ptuning_pedals.asp?id=304
but I mean you can get these for abou 60 USD anyway! so why would Ted go through all the trouble to make them and still probably not do much better on the price? Unless he can in which case all the power to him.

Do you know everything that is in a S4 CPU?
Brakes, key lights, warning lights, Key and light warning buzzer, turn signals, Hazard lights, etc...
S5 coupe CPUs add factory security (but drop brake light controls), and S5 verts w/SRS add turn signal relief controls and other things.
And sorry to jump into your thread Ted

If there is already a similar product out there, no sense trying to band my head trying to beat their price. There are even cheaper option on the link I posted above - $16!!!
Were trying to offer products which are not offered anywhere else. This will give FC owners more options to replace or upgrade for their cars. If there are alternatives already available, I'll try and post links and pics, but it's not worth out time to develop products that already exists, unless we can offer them at a substantial discount in price.

You're offering a very good service to all FC owners.
Hell, I can't even beat your services for the price you're asking!
I'm going to start listing links from my website to yours soon - if it's alright with you?

And here is something Ted,
something that I was thinking of making (and probably won't even start looking making at until next year if no one else makes one) was a decent throttle body vortex spacer. I know its only a couple of HP,and there are other issues with vac routing, but I have seen them work on Toyota and Lexus products.
and sure you can link! I appreciate it if you do!
