My car's computer just went out and i finally got it replaced after 2 months of sitting in the driveway but i am having a problem. i have a 1987 2t After i start the car about 3min into driving i hear a series of 5 beeps then stops for a sec then a series of 5 beeps and so on intell i turn the car off. Does anyone know what might be the problem?

 

Power steering computer. Under the dash to the left of the stering column. Either you're low on fluid, something is unplugged, or the computer isnt seeing a speed reading from the speedometer. IF all else fails you can unplug the PS ecu to stop the beeping but your PS wont work very well that way. Usually if everything is pluged in, and the speedo works, they system works too.
