what Electronic boost controller should i get?

so lets say i have a turbo car, which i do. and lets say iwana boost the power, which i do. and, lets also say that i want something reliable, and no suffer boost spikes like on a MBC, which i do.

what EBC should i go with since i want, easy to tune, reliable, boost spike-resistant, and something w/o a **** that i could accidentally bump, and cause overboost.

anyone know which boost controller would suit me best?

a ball and spring MBC will spike less then a eletric one. spiking has more to do with the wastegate though not the controller. you won't bet a MBC for the price. It'll probably spool faster then an electric one too. but if you want to spend your $$ the apexi avc-r is the best electric one you can get.

I know a dude that makes em for 35 bucks "I think" for DSM's. They should work the same, but ive heard a few people mention, one of which "I think" was Ted, that you shouldnt use a MBC on a rotary.

You can make a manual boost controler out of parts from your local hardware store for like 5 bux, just make sure you follow someones directions. Should be able to search for homemade mbc on Yahoo, but I know there was a huge thread on www.saabnet.com

I have an MBC on my saab, gonna take it off soon and but it on my rx7.
