I had my fan pinned, ran fine, ran cool, for a year (1/4 on the guage)

Just had the correct clutch put in, runs hotter (1/2 on the guage) but a lot quieter.

I persoannly did not mind the noise and rather liked the cool temps (Florida, A/C, bumber to bumper traffic) but it does seem to run better now that the engine is hotter and not running as rich

My friend has a 240 and his fan locked up on him. It took almost 2 seconds off his 1/4mile time.

Well shoot howdy! I'm gonna go lock my fan up right now! This is sure to be the hot new mod. I mean really, why spend all that money on a new turbo and fuel system when I can just lock my fan clutch?!
