my S5 TII block w/ flywheel weighed in at around 240lbs w/ pallet

if your shipping to somewhere on the eastern coast, the best carrier ive seen has to be R + L carriers. www.gorlc.com

Think this would be a good one to add to the FAQ - weight of long and short with or with out turbo. What do ya think?

yeah, If I can get an exact weight we will. It appears now, that we have weights from 180 to 220 lbs.

Pretty sure the s4 tii bare block weighs 210. S5 will probably be a bit lighter..

But define a bare block...

I consider a bare block to not have a front cover, oil pan, oil pick up, water pump and pump housing. Doesn't even have the pulleys on the e-shaft. Just the block.

Others may consider the front cover and water pump as part of a bare block.
