vacuum leak?

I may have a vacuum leak, anyone know a common area? At idle, it lopes from below the first line to 1000 RPM. It's worse when the A/C is on. What does that inidcate?

When I unplug the TPS sensor, the idle still lopes.

When I unplug the BAC the car stalls.

I **think** when I add fuel injector cleaner, it tends not to lope as much. Injectors?

I've lubed the throttle springs already.

I've sprayed hoses /w carb cleaner -- no luck.

Any thoughts?

Car is a '91 N/A. I also didn't see any creaks in the intake tract after the MAF sensor.

The entire upper intake is a "common" area for vacuum leaks. Seriously, the hoses get old and brittle and any one of them could crack. I would suggest trying the carb cleaner trick again, or just replacing all of the damn old hoses with new silicon ones. Also, vacuum leaks can come from the intake gaskets and injector grommits as well, so be sure to check those areas.

What's a good source for vacuum hoses?
What length should I get?

I think I will do an entire hose job. Even though I sprayed it down, I know I didn't get every hose. It's also possible that the spider is damaged also, since this is a replacement engine.

I am thinking hosetechnique.com but I'm not sure what sizes? Just 3.5mm?
