Turbo dumb!!

Hey everyone,I'm a little turbo dumb so I would like some help. I was just given a brand spankin new Garrett T04-e. What I'd like to know is if it's worth my time to install it. The hot side says A/R 1.00, the cold side says A/R .50. There are no water inlet lines and its huge( I like it). Let me know some important info regarding my TII engine and it's possible response to this turbo.

It's just a stock TII block with all emissions removed, RB Downpipe to Apexi exhaust, SPEC stage 3 clutch , stock turbo. The turbo is a straight up T04-E by garrett viewable at any website. Camera batteries dead.

well my advice is to do it right get some supporting fuel parts...i.e. fuel pump, bigger injectors and some way to tune it and something to monitor the AFR's and boost. or you might get away with running it on lowlow boost for awhile but i'd say get the fuel stuff first.

The T04E comes in several different trims.
46, 50, 54, 57, 60?
Which one is yours?

I'd say you're in over year head.

To proper support a full turbo upgrade, you'd need...

* More fuel (bigger fuel injectors, bigger fuel pump)
* FMIC highly recommended
* Custom intake / exhaust fabrication
* Stand-alone EMS for proper engine control

You're looking at several THOUSAND dollars worth of mods to do this properly.

Even if you cheap out, we're talking minimum fuel computer, eBay FMIC + pipes, Walbro, etc.
Just in materials, that's like $2k in stuff.
Can you handle all the labor yourself?

To find what wheel trim, you need to pop the compressor wheel cover and measure the inducer and exducer specs...

I stay in over my head, thats my comfort zone. I already use a front front mount I just didn't list it and the rest is pretty doable, I may try!!!
