well Rtek 2.1 will get the job done (no guarantees on power numbers). other systems like Haltech Platinum Sport and Power FC will also work and have more features, but they will cost more money and take more time/trouble to install and tune.

rtek 2.1, safcII, wideband o2 should get your numbers where you want them.

as long as you have sufficient fuel injectors, you can tune the safcII to either richen or lean the fuel out. dont suggest using the safcII by itself unless your running in the +2 -2 range though, otherwise you can detonate.

um, you can tune the rtek 2.1 without a dam safcII. those things are garbage compaired to the tuning of the Rteks. only the 2.1's.

I second that. The Rtek 2.1 is awesome.

i still don't know why so many people suggest the Rteks to the inexperienced.

if you think about it, your tuner is going to put the sticks to you in tuning costs due to how crappy the cell tuning is on the Rtek. i now only suggest the Rtek to those who are going to tune themself or want an expensive diagnostic tool that has tuning capability.

you use a palm pilot to tune it, there is no computer/laptop interface short of uploading logs to your computer.

iirc the Rtek has 600 cells that each need to be adjusted one at a time.

do you have to send it in? or does it tap into the ecu with a harness of some sort?

damn! the rtek has lots of features that can greatly increase the performance of the car without even adding horsepower. you can make the car run better than that of the stock ecu. my s5 is running about 182 hp n/a right now. that means that if i get the rtek, then i could be pushing as much horse as a modded TII, right?

i think this is my ticket to a good run at the track, thanks for the answers and link.

nope, i'd bet you won't be squeezing much if anything more out of it, if your horsepower figures are in fact accurate without doing a bridge/peripheral/j-port all of which require a real standalone which the Rtek won't support those ports with the AFM remaining at the center of it's universe.

Haltek Sprint Re. Not as expensive as the p100. Im trying to get to the same power goals as you with almost the same set up.

With your mods i would recommend an aftermarket ems like haltech or microtech. It really comes down to what your tuner can work with.
