TLF Performance Injectors

I know these are an ebay brand, but it seems like most of the people who bought their products were happy with them. I did a search and got one thread regarding them, and the thread had mixed reviews.

I would like to know how they run and if they're reliable. Some people said it causes misfires and some people said they had no problems. I would like to sort it out and find out once and for all.

$320 on ebay for 4x 720cc injectors and a 255lph fuel pump, you can't really beat that deal.

What do you guys think?

If you DON'T recommend TLF, please refer me to someone who you DO recommend. I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

I doubt the injectors are made by "TLF" (whoever that is). They are likely made by Denso or Bosch so they will be fine.

If you intend to run 4 x 720CC primaries, you will need something to control them besides the stock ECU. At the minimum, an S-AFC will make it workable.

I bought (4) 720cc injectors, 2 at two different times as i revise dmy fuel needs, from TLF, he claims that these injectors are remanufactured cores that have been rebuilt to new flow specs, I looked up the numbers on two of mine and they traced back to being 185cc and 190cc at the start of their lives. Venom is the company the rebuild these injectors, they icluded flowcharts for the injectors I received.

The second time i bought them, i got a deal where the fuel pump was included, the pump worked fine.

I have had a good experience with the company, their products seem good quality and they were very good people to deal with, answered all my questions. Plus they have good prices. Hope this helps.

Aaroncake,
i thought we had two primaries and two secondaries? How can you run (4) 720cc injectors as primaries? Will an S-AFC allow you to do that, like the secondaries are turned into primaries that run all the time??

On my Rtek7 Stage 2.0, it has settings for 550cc/550cc pri/sec, 550cc/720cc pri/sec or 720cc/720cc pri/sec injector setting with an adjustable staging point for the activation of the secondary injectors.

Please correct me if I am confused..

Sorry, I made a typing mistake. I meant 2 x 720CC as primary, then the remaining two as secondary.

I have installed two of their 720cc secondaries and only put about 10 miles on them. So far so good.

Theese are good injectors, I am becoming a dealer of venom products, just like TLF. Theese injectors are new and come with a one year warranty backed by venom. I hope to have an advertisement on this forum for my products that i can offer to the rx7 community. Note, i just installed 4 460cc na venom injectors on a gtu i just sold, ran perfect. I also run the 1000cc injectors in my primary spot. I have injectors from 440cc up to 1000cc drop in stock fuel rails for Fc's. Working on getting Venom to make some 1600cc and 1300cc.
Thank you
john

TLF is a good company to deal with. I bought two 550cc and two 720cc injectors from them. They were Denso injectors by the way.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to go ahead and buy the injectors with the pump. It seems like a really good deal.

As for engine management, I'm going to be using rtek 1.8 with SAFC. Turbo will be BNR stage 2 on the stock TMIC for now. I'm hoping to make around 300whp with a rebuid and street port from Karack. Any suggestions?

i was considering gettting tlf injectors, but did a search and came up with some threads about their injectors flowing a lot less than stated. like the 1600's were tested to flow only 550. I would send them off to get tested before installing.

i decided to go with RC injectors through speedmachine, they have all their injectors flow tested before they send them to you, with printouts and everything
