need advice on rotary purchase

I have been doing research on jdmmotors.com for buying a new turbo motor for my base model '87 RX7. has anyone had some experience with buying from this particular site or know of a better offer elsewhere. I want to know if they let you pick between the 2 different motors. from the research i have done the 89-91 is a better motor than the earlier 2nd gen motors. Am i mistaken ?

any advice would be great!!!

jdm motors are NOT new. And if you are new to the rotary then stay in your series. Once you become more advanced you can start messing around.

You should also know that a turbo motor isnt a "turnkey" swap into an 87 base. You need a complete TII electronics suite.
