Is there a switch on the feul pump?

Well the dealer that I'm trying to buy my TII from is saying that there is a "switch" on the feul pump that the previos owner took off to put more feul to the engine. For some reason I just can't beleive that there is a switch ON the feul pump. Or in front of it. Does anyone know what they are talking about? I'm gonna have them show me where this "switch" is. Is there some kind of sensor that can be removed or something? Please give me your input.

I wouldn't go thur a dealer anyway call the guys at Rotary Performance in Garland talk to them, ask for Chris. The only switch I could think of being there would be if someone added it to help with the flooding troubles that we sometimes have.

yes it will start without the relay only untill the fuel is burned up cause its not pumping. yea crasher is right there could be a switch if the guy rigged it to help with flooding.

(see im learning considering its my first rx and it still doesnt work)

Dealers know squat. That statement makes no sense. Take crasher's advice and take it to someone who knows rotaries to get it checked it out.
And it's fuel!

He may be talking about the "fuel pump rewire" mod, or perhaps a fuel pump cutoff switch (to aid in unflooding). Either way, don't listen to him, and offer $100 less because the wiring has been butchered.
