TD06 or T04?

I'm in the middle of selling my other car, and when I get the money from that I'm going to go with the full turbo upgrade.

What is the capability of the TD06 that rx-7store offers? I did a search and in the poll posted a while back people were only talking about T04, T04S turbos.

I'm looking to spend between $3500 - $4000 for the entire setup including FMIC. I'll have 720 injectors by then as well so I'll have the fuel for it.

You're going to need bigger than 4 x 720's...

The 60-1 seems to be the best bang for your buck turbo.

Be it T04E "60", or T04B 60-1 etc.

Many cars in the 350-420HP range with that compressor.

And yes, you might want 1600cc secondaries, so more like 720/1600...

TD series are Mitsubishi turbos. TO4 series are Garrett. Parts are much easier and cheaper to acquire than the TD turbos. Garrett turbos parts are interchangeable so if you want a bigger compressor or exhaust a/r, you just change the wheel and housing. the thing I noticed about the Mitsubishi turbos are the exhaust a/r. They're too small. It has fast spool but lacks power on top. You need at least a .96 a/r for less back pressure .
If you are going to go with TD06, there are different models,
TD06 13C, 17C, 19C, 19G? 25G , TD06S 20Gand TD06SH.
Also remember that the TD series exhaust flange is a 4 bolt and not V band.
Search for a TD06 20G and a TO4E 60 trim compressor map. You'll see the difference.

The Mitsubishi TD-06 compares closely to the Garrett T04 stuff.&nbsp The typical GReddy kit for the FC3S is this 20G, I think.&nbsp This turbo is capable of producing 400hp at the wheels.&nbsp These turbos are not as efficient as some of the Garrett offerings (especially the 60-1), so it lags slightly at the low RPM's versus the T04 stuff.
