Don't forget you need a Turbo II Clutch Slave cylinder.

you need the tranny and rear end(driveshaft, half shafts, diff.), starter, clutch slave cylinder, I am not sure about the brake master cylinder, the throttle cable( thanks MtnRacer), whole engine with everything attached, emissions optional, ECU of course, FUEL PUMP, you need new gauges ( boost, and whatever else you want), I am not sure about the oil cooler, I am sure there is more but I can't think of more right now.....ANYONE: Feel free to correct me If I am wrong on anything.....

edit: If I may ask, why are you doing it in pieces?

kevin landers's site doesn't say anything about the clutch slave cylinder.

You need the slave. I guess their different. Once I pull the NA engine out of my GTU I'll compare it with the new TII one I have. I'm guessing it's more powerful or bigger to help the bigger clutch.

Any news on the starter though?
That's one thing I didn't figure out. I don't wnt to find out when I'm dropping the tranny in with the engine that NA's don't work.

but the clutch slave cylinder is already attached, making it easier, than uninstalling one and re-installing the other, if you are pulling the engine and tranny out at once. Like MtnRacer said to me, keep everything together, it will make things much easier when doing the install.

You do need the T2 starter for the T2 transmission, NA & T2 are not interchangable.

You do not need the T2 oil cooler or brake master cylinder.

you need an automatic or a tii starter for the turbo transmission.

i would still like some better proof that the slave cylinders are different, because i haven't bought one yet. heh.

In 2 weeks I'll try and remeber to post here.

I have a TII Slave right now and the NA Slave is still in my car.

I bought a Mazdatrix Stainless clutch line anyways so I'm removing it.

this is why you need the turbo slave cylinder for the turbo tranny

Thank you.

I knew something had to be different. I figured it was bigger because the clutch on a TII is bigger.

that actually has nothing to do with it. it's simply because the mounting points are different on the N/A and turbo trannies

you can't do the swap in peices unless you don't plan to drive or move it anywhere durring the pocess.....

you need all at once. nothing mixes and matches between them.

that depends on how big of a chunk of pieces we're talking about, scott.
