TII vs TII vert

Obviously the vert has a lot more pounds then the TII but my question is: Can any who has driven both cars. give a good comparison. Its odd that I have never seen a comparison of both granted the TI vert is based over seas. I never seen an aussie or japan article on the comparsion of both.

Icemark would be the one I would expect to know. He had his vert with a TII install, but it's now a ported NA. I'm sure he's driven a regular TII as well.

Well, he said he didn't like what he got out of the vert. Kevin from rotary resurrection has a TII vert and it seems as he like his. So I would like to get more feed back. One persons attempt at the TII vert doesn't mean its going to scrae me away from my project.

Just go with the LS1 convertion. Yeah it won't be a wankel but it will be hella fast!

The Turbo 'vert was never sold in Australia, and unless you have access to Japanese new-car mags from the mid-80's you'd probably never find a magazine comparison.

If you've driven both coupe and 'vert in NA form, then you know the differences. The Turbo's are just faster.

A NA vert is probably 3 seconds slower in the 1/4 mile than a TII.

Orlando, if you were up here for the meet Saturday you could have gone out in Dan's T04 TII 'Vert. He was giving rides. I took it out myself and it just has gobs of power over 6k rpm. I feel a LOT more confident driving my S5 TII...it may just come down to personal taste.

I've never had a 'vert before this one. Having never experienced it and always wanting one, that's how I made my decision. Plus I've always been the type of person that I need a car just a little different than everyone elses -- so uniqueness was a factor in my purchase. Throw an RE motor in there and it should be quite a unique 'vert.

But, I've never ridden in a TII so I can't say how it compares. (and my RE conversion isn't complete either, so I can't say much there either).
