Sub-zero starting fluid

My car doesnt have a sub-zero starting fluid bottle in it but i have one that i can put in it. It sais sub-zero starting fluid but i was wondering when it actually kicked in??? Or if its actually needed??? I have a 1988 turbo and i live in georgia

the sub-zero start assist system does not work, just leave it out and block off the injector.

+1.. There was a TSB on this actually. It told dealerships to remove said system because it was worthless.

I'll pay for shipping if you send it to me... I want to use the bottle for something else.

When I parted out my first '86, the sub zero system was not only intact, but still full of fluid from god knows when! I still have it in my garage...haha.

yea, i also have a mostly-full sub-zero bottle and pump from the P.O. (or someone before that). I may use it for 2-stroke oil for the OMP, I havent decided yet.

thanks the line was already blocked off when i got the car. i got the bottle from the junk yard so im not sure if the motor actually works but u can have mine
