steering rack swap question
Unplug the PS computer, it's under the dash, on the left side above the clutch lever; you might as well just pull the whole computer since you have the Manual rack.

Pull the Power steering ECU out.
since you disconnected the PS pump,you have a Sender that says "'hey,something is wrong here".It goes to the PS Ecu.
disconnecting the PS ecu will remove the Beep.

i looked in the fsm under electrical and power steering but no luck..... it looks like there are two ecu's there i dont know which one is the power steering one

the beep will still continue
i just figured this out myself.
when i pulled my PS computer i got 2 beep, pause repeat. 2 beep means the PS is not functioning.
this beeping comes from the CPU. you have to replace the CPU with one from a GX model.
