The cable or the mounting spot? The cable is from the battery (negative terminal) and the mounting spot is where the starter mounts/bolts to the transmission (part of the starter where the end of the starter is triangular in shape, although this triangular shape has a rounded off edge to it).

So it grounds on one of the starter bolts to the engine?

Yes. Focus "only" on the rounded off triangular part in the pic, the rest is wrong.

Thank you. That helps a lot. I was reading some of your posts earlier about jumpering a wire from the positive battery cable to the B/W wire. If the starter turns over normal then what should I do?

I assume that you are having starting issues? If so, does your car have the factory alarm? If so, then you have the Starter Cut relay which has four wires to it. Of these four wires there are two Black/Green wires. One of these B/G wires has voltage w/key to on while the other one does not. Focus on the B/G wire that "does not have voltage on it w/key to on." Jumper this wire to the B/W wire in the plug of four wires. Then try to start the car. If the problem persists then the problem is likely the Interlock switch. If it is the Interlock switch then jumper the two wires (one wire is B/G and the second wire is Black/Red) in this switch to bypass it and try to start the car.
